Dr Ll. Aparicio, Medical Co-Director of Instituto Bernabeu, moderated the Endometrial Receptivity Workshop held within the framework of the 4th Clinical Workshops on Reproduction Medicine organised by Ferring and held in Valencia on 8th and 9th November.
Instituto Bernabeu has submitted a pilot study involving ova donors to the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). It researches differences in results when conventional ovarian stimulation protocols are applied in comparison with new, no fixed time stimulation protocols that do not take the stage of the menstrual cycle into account. The research entailed an analysis of ova donation cycles which was performed over ten months. It compared stimulation beginning on days 1 to 3 with ovarian stimulation that had no fixed time from day 4 onwards.
The Rafael Bernabeu Social Welfare Foundation has published the results of the 2018-2019 scholarships awards. The scholarships provide Medicine, Nursing, Biology and Biotechnology students in Spain with financial support in order boost their studies. On this occasion, further to assessment of all the applications that were received, the Awards Committee chose to award four students the scholarships worth a total of 10,000 euros.
Instituto Bernabeu participated in the 75th edition of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) congress held from 12th to 16th October in Philadelphia. It is one of the leading congresses in the world both in terms of the number of participants and in terms of the quality of the work that is presented there. Dr Ll. Aparicio, Medical Co-Director of Instituto Bernabeu, was the clinic representative at the global gathering of experts attended by 9,300 people from 94 countries. It is a not-to-be-missed event in the field.
