Dr Jorge Ten explains to the students of the Master in Human Reproduction at the Complutense University of Madrid the key to vitrification
The Instituto Bernabeu professionals add to their vocation for assistance, being teachers and researchers. Many of the clinic's professionals contribute with their experience as professors at Universities and Masters. The director of the Embryology Unit, Dr Jorge Ten, has offered this Saturday, February 6, a class to the students of the Master in Human Reproduction organized by the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF) and of which he has been a teacher for eleven years. He has done it through videoconference due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic.
The Embryology Unit director has addressed eggs vitrification. A subject in which the Instituto Bernabeu is a pioneer and is at the forefront when it comes to applying vitrification techniques. Thanks to the high specialization of the clinic, the survival rates of gametes and embryos exceed 90%.
The director of the Unit for the treatment of low ovarian response, Dr Ll. Aparicio, is also a teacher in this UCM's own title.
