The Instituto Bernabeu signs a collaborative agreement with the University of Alicante in the field of biotechnology research
Instituto Bernabeu has signed a collaborative agreement with the University of Alicante through which the university will undertake research in the field of Biotechnology. The project was signed by the Director of the Instituto Bernabeu Group, Dr Rafael Bernabeu, and from the University, the Rector, Mr Ignacio Jiménez Raneda, and the Vice Rector of Research, Development and Innovation, Mr Manuel Palomar Sanz.
The goal of the research Instituto Bernabeu is funding is promote the understanding and aid the diffusion of technology related to Biomedicine and Reproductive Biotechnology.
It isn't the first time that the IB Group has worked closely with the University of Alicante. The Rafael Bernabeu Charitable Foundation founded the Chair of Biotechnology at the University in order to contribute to the improvement of health, scientific research and further education.
After the signing of a framework agreement in December of 2005, a specific agreement was then signed to set up the Chair of Biotechnology with its goal to create a space for teaching, research and the spreading of knowledge in a small scientific speciality which demands a comprehensive approach.
