Conference at IB with Dr. Justo Callejo, pioneer in ovarian tissue transplants

Professor Justo Callejo was the precursor of freezing ovarian tissue, achieving the first pregnancy in Spain after ovarian tissue transplant. This breakthrough allowed oncology patients to access motherhood after invasive therapies such as chemotherapy.

The conference organized by Instituto Bernabeu and its Foundation will take place next Friday, on 1 February from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in the auditorium of Instituto Bernabeu Alicante, and is aimed at gynaecologists, oncologists and reproductive biologists.

Dr. Justo Callejo is the Clinical Head of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Sant Joan de Déu University Hospital in Barcelona and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the University of Barcelona Faculty of Medicine.
