Instituto Bernabeu investigates the factors that may affect successful embryo transfer

A team of researchers from the Embryology and Reproductive Medicine Units at Instituto Bernabeu in Madrid and Alicante have completed a study of the factors that may have the greatest impact on embryo transfer rates following a cycle of assisted reproduction. The research work was presented at the Association for the Study of Reproduction Biology (ASEBIR) Congress held in late October in Cáceres.

An Instituto Bernabeu study analyses if ovarian stimulation can alter the risk of aneuploidies and mosaicism in embryos

The aim of research work performed by the Genetics and Molecular Biology Department at Instituto Bernabeu IBBiotech was to determine if there is a relationship between the ovarian stimulation process in cycles of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and the aneuploidy and mosaicism rate in embryos. The conclusions were presented at the Association for the Study of Reproduction Biology (ASEBIR) Congress held in October in Cáceres.

Instituto Bernabeu gave an oral communication about oocyte vitrification at the Association for the Study of Reproduction Biology (ASEBIR) Congress held in Cáceres in October. Freezing is common practice during in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment because it increases the available number of blastocysts for analysis.

Instituto Bernabeu obtains the QH* Excellence in Healthcare accreditation

The healthcare that patients are given is endorsed by certifications and accreditations awarded to the clinic by independent entities. Instituto Bernabeu Group has recently been awarded the QH* accreditation. It entails not only a renewal of the Quality Healthcare (QH) certification, but also an additional, higher level that has been driven by the ‘increase in the validity of certain certifications’, as highlighted by the Institute for Development and Integration of Health (IDIS), the accrediting organism.
